No More Gang Music @ Bars

I wonder if this will effect Heavy Metal bars and Punk Rock clubs also....

No more gangsta music: Councillor
The Toronto Sun

A Toronto councillor wants to target gangs and gunmen by requiring nightclubs to install metal detectors and play music that doesn't glorify gun violence before they're issued a liquor licence.

Ward 7 councillor Giorgio Mammoliti is also proposing that nightclubs not admit patrons who wear gang colours, bandanas and headgear.

"Gang music, violence and lifestyle don't mix well with liquor," Mammoliti said.

He has intervened in six cases in which nightclubs are seeking licences, intending to discuss his proposal with owners.

Its really interesting, and I loved this post. I think metal detectors should be installed in bars and clubs. When we had visited live music nyc, there was proper security, and everyone was safe. Ambience was really good, and without any tension of security there we enjoyed, had beer, and did dance.
