Hate vandalism stuns reserve

Spray-painted swastikas, SS symbols mar Aboriginal Day

As dawn was waiting to break on National Aboriginal Day, vandals attacked a Native cultural centre on a West Quebec reserve.

In the dead of night, they covered the centre's beige stucco walls with black spray paint, screaming "white power" alongside swastikas and "SS" symbols.

They overturned picnic tables, ripped down tents and trashed a teepee, leaving Kitigan Zibi, a community about 130 km north of Ottawa, aghast and grappling with its first taste of a hate crime.

"Elders are shocked, saddened, upset and frustrated. The youth are upset and angry, the parents are angry and people are saying, 'Gee, when are we going to move away from this?' " said Anita Tenasco, director of education at the cultural centre.

"The message is so clear. 'White power' on our building as we get ready to celebrate (National Aboriginal Day)."

London IDIOT Calls For More Minorities In Office

This is outrageous. This is anti-White European in every way possible! There are PLENTY of minorities in the city, why do they feel the need to hire them based on skin colour and gender? That is DISCRIMINATION! They want to hire these people just because they are not White males, it's just that simple!

What I'm talking about is the new proposal made by "Coun. Harold Usher, a visible minority born in Belize in Central America..." that suggests the city of London hires more visibal minorites.

Hey Harold Usher, if you're not satisified with the way we run things up here in Canada, why not go home to Belize and hire minorities there?

The part that really bothers me is "...the city (LONDON) had 36,420 visible minorities, excluding aboriginals, when the...census was taken in 2001.

That meant minorities accounted for 11 per cent of the city's 2001 population, which has since grown from 332,000 to more than 350,000, with the percentage of minorities also thought to have risen."

Jesus fucking Christ! That's a lot! That's a rather large increase if you ask me, considering that we should be cutting back on minorities not adding to the pile! They are handing out CANADIAN jobs to immigrants and minorities based on the fact that they are not White men! I hope to see an outcry from the locals about this...

Tired of years of lip service on the issue, a London city councillor wants the city to hire more visible minorities.

Coun. Harold Usher, a visible minority born in Belize in Central America, has for years pushed to diversify city hiring with no visible success.

Tonight, the Ward 12 politician's motion asking city staff for a diversity strategy goes to city council for approval.

"I'm not asking for a quota system," Usher said."But we have to be more conscious of the problem. Unless we keep pushing for it, nobody does anything about it. Nobody seems to care."

Minority hiring was a hot issue in Ontario in the early '90s, when Bob Rae's NDP government brought in an employment-equity law to promote hiring by major employers of racial minorities, women, natives and the disabled.

CANNIBALISM IN KANADA

In the early 18th century, Jesuit missionaries bore witness to a savage Aboriginal death ritual. The tribe that was conducting the ritual were the Hurons. Their victim? An Iroquois Aboriginal man who was kidnapped while he and his fellow tribesmen were fishing along the shores of Lake Ontario. The Huron chief claimed that his God Of War and The Sun would be pleased with the ritual they were about to proceed with.

Being a scared ritual, there were a set of rules that must be followed. One of these rules was that they were not allowed to massacre their victims before daybreak. Since they had captured the men at night, they could not execute their plans, so instead they just burned his legs. Also, they should not have sex during the night, but for what reason is unknown.

The tied and bound prisoner, screaming in immense pain started to sing a song that he had learned just for the occasion. The song was one of defiance, meant to invoke bravery in the soul while in the face of death. The Iroquois man was then brought inside of the primitive building they had constructed which was full of savages ready to brand him with burning bark. As the man resisted his upcoming fate, the Huronsbroke the bones of the man to restrain him and then pierced his ears with sticks from the ground, which they left inside of the ears.

Every time the Iroquois victim seems as if he were about to crossover to the realm of the dead, the Huron chief would make the brutal tribesmen cease their torturing because he was supposed to see the daylight. As dawn approached, he was taken outside. Then, he was forced climb onto a primitive wooden platform, enabling the entire village to see what was happening to him. These platforms built upon wooden scaffold replaced the ziggurats and pyramids that were common in Mesoamerica.

Once upon the death alter, four men took the task of torturing their prisoner. First they scorched out his eyes, placed red hot hatchets on his shoulders and forced burning rods down his throat and into his anus. As soon as they realized that their subject of sacrifice was about to die, they cut off his arms, legs and his head - all at the same time. They then threw the Iroquois man's head into the onlooking crowd. One of the barbaric Hurons in the crowd caught the head and carried it to the chief.

The chief made a meal out of the head.
